What is a chip?

A chip is a semiconductor device that is made from silicon and can be embedded in a circuit.

It is designed to be small and thin.

It has a physical shape, which means it is made of a combination of silicon and ceramic, which is also made from materials such as graphite, graphite dioxide and aluminium.

How is a processor made?

A processor is a piece of silicon, usually about 10 nanometres wide, that is used to power computer chips.

It can also contain a battery and an electronic circuit, called a transistors, that are used to make the chips’ signals.

How do chips come together?

A process known as semiconductor lithography uses layers of silicon to form a layer of aluminium oxide and then another layer of graphite oxide, then a layer made of another layer made up of a layer that has just been made up, then another more thin layer of silicon.

This is the process of making a chip.

How does chip manufacturing differ from traditional manufacturing?

In conventional manufacturing, the entire chip is made by a single, big machine.

This makes it more costly to produce chips.

However, chip manufacturing can be more efficient than traditional manufacturing because it uses fewer parts, which saves energy and money.

This means the cost of manufacturing chips is lower and, in turn, the quality of the chips can be improved.
