Ars Technic’s Steve Krakauer has a story up about how to stream a game for free, in an Android app.
There are two basic methods for this.
One involves the app itself, where the app is a web page, and then a link to the game on a device running the Android or iOS app.
The other is via the Play Store, where you can buy the game outright, or get the game as a downloadable app, which allows you to stream it to the device.
Ars Technico’s Steve Largent and Steve Troughton-Smith report that Google has been working on a solution for both of these ways of streaming games for years, but this is the first time that Android apps have really started to take off.
Ars will be reporting on these Android streaming apps as they come online.
